Covenant is a walk between divinity and humanity. It is the most superior commodity on earth.
A promise can change, in fact, can be broken, but covenant cannot change. God made promises to several people in the Bible, yet He changed His mind, nothing happened but all those with covenant, till today, it still stands and remains.
Living inside covenant will make you win your battles in life. Covenant enables you to brag in God. It creates respect and honour for you.
Psalm 74:20
The principles of God work universally whether they’re good or the evil.
Outside the covenant, you’re as good as dead.
Covenant is a master key that gives you your space and respect in life.
7 Dangers of A COVENANT-LESS LIFE
1 John 5:19; Psalm 3:3
This world is governed by the wicked. Covenant preserves you from the wickedness of the wicked. The name of the church doesn’t prevent you from being troubled.
How are you so sure your children will return safely if they go out? It is covenant that will determine that.
1. A COVENANT-LESS LIFE lacks divine covering. It provides divine insurance for you. Any attack can hit you and bring you down anytime. You’re spiritually exposed
According to Genesis 15:1, Abraham was shielded because he had entered a covenant with God. The covenant between you and God is superior to any cult or coven.
Without covenant, you’re defenceless, shield-less, and open to every attack. Covenant activates divine protection for you and all yours.
2. A COVENANT-LESS LIFE has no identity, no name, and no lineage.
Without covenant, your life remains a battle, you don’t have a spiritual backing, you’re just there.
I Samuel 17:36
When you’re in covenant, God Himself fights your battle.
3. A COVENANT-LESS LIFE attracts spiritual vulnerability. You’re open to anything.
Psalm 74:20
When you are in a covenant, anyone who touches you by mistake, dies by correction.
Genesis 31:24-31
Covenant is the container of divine rebuke.
Outside that container you’re weak.
Can your children brag that “the God of my father is with me”?
In the spirit world, legality matters. Covenant gives you a legal standing with God.
Even the devil respects covenant. Same covenant gives you voice and weight in the spirit realm.
4. A COVENANT-LESS LIFE disconnects from divine promises.
Every promise in the scripture is tied to a covenant. God’s blessings are not random, they are tied to covenants.
Hebrews 8:6
When you’re COVENANT-LESS, you will hear promises that may not come to pass until you die.
5. A COVENANT-LESS life leads to instability, inconsistency.
Now you think it’s luck that is running or working against you.

6. A COVENANT-LESS LIFE results in spiritual isolation; you’re simply alone. God is a rational God and covenant is the framework of that relationship. Without covenant you’re distant from God.
7. A COVENANT-LESS LIFE will result in eternal loss. It will not end well.
The gravest danger is to not end well. There is a covenant of performance after you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
Covenant exempts you from impending danger.
How do I work out the Covenant?
1. By solid discipline. Discipline is not a joke, it is possessing the capacity to do the right thing at the right time, whether it’s convenient or not, whether you’re being monitored.
Job 36:11
Discipline is a requirement for destiny fulfilment. Show me a covenant person, and I will show you a discipline person.
Covenant is a call to duty, discipline is the composure that makes it easy for you to walk in covenant. It may not be sensible or right to ‘drop’ money in the church, but discipline makes you do it. Discipline makes you to pray at the time you set out to pray. It makes you to read your Bible and makes you to identify sin and scram.
Covenant carriers are people of discipline. Even when no one is watching, disciple makes you do the right thing, knowing fully well that if you fail, you break your covenant, and things would definitely go wrong..
2. Diligence. The lazy man has no future. Ecclesiastes 10:18 GNT
Diligence is what sponsors and empowers greatness.
3. Engage Winning Wisdom. Proverbs 4:7
Covenant doesn’t make you stupid. Wisdom triggers covenant. You need to engage winning wisdom. Getting it is the principal thing. There are wisdom instincts that triggers you not to suffer.
It is wisdom that regulates your choices and actions to successfully follow covenant.
Accepting Jesus Christ is the first, to walk with Jesus, you must be not be insensitive.
5. OBEDIENCE. I Kings 17:3, 8-9 GNT
Live a life of obedience. When you walk in covenant, you’re sustained by obedience.
Obedience sharpens the covenant.
6. Engage in covenant practices such as discipline, diligence, wisdom, obedience. Covenant practices and holiness involves certain things such as:
Prayer
Holiness
Giving. There are certain people you must go out of your way take care of. The blessing God brought your way isn’t for you alone.
Begin to give, give to God, give to your prophet, give to orphans, give to widows.
Tithing. This is a non-negotiable phenomenon. You have no right to debate or take out anything from this.
Faithfulness: you must show yourself to be faithful - in little tings, in another man’s thing and even in unrighteous mammon.
Be a Word addict.
Understand your Covenant right in God.
Carry the Kingdom of God on your head. Put the things of God first in your life.
